SATORI

Satori
acrylic on paper 12" x 16"

Eeeeeek...its been raining and dark and cloudy here in Portland for days, and I usually photograph my work outside in natural light.  This was the best I could do for an indoor shot....so frustrating....where or where is the sun?

What lovely colours and such a dynamic dancing swirl to it - I can imagine it looking stunning on a wide floaty skirt.

Wonderfully happy colours with such dull weather. We seem to have the same rain cloud over here in Aus!

They're vibrant, energetic, and wonderful! They resonate with me, as I do quite a bit of abstract painting. I'm happy to have discovered your blog!

you live in my favorite city- but your weather is not much different from mine up here north of Seattle- and I plan to go to the Picasso exhibit soon myself.

Donna....ah, yes Portland is a great city, the art scene here is vibrant and so many young, creative people are moving here.
