Finally....new work in progress....

I have been struggling as of late on what to do.  I have been trying to empty my mind of all the chatter, however it has been difficult.  I don't usually post WIP photos, but I wanted to have something concrete to blog about, as for a few weeks there has been nothing.  This piece is just at the outset...but here it is....a start....

Great stuff. This (in my opinion) is your niche. Your style suits these gorgeous rusty pieces that are full of life and stories to tell.

I'll be following. :)

It's nice to meet you, Cynthia, and the vivid colours of your work (the blues and oranges below) are wonderful, as are these pieces with the blue and turquoise so striking against the rust. I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops.

Mary Ann, Oh, that is so interesting about being in the "not knowing" place, you are right...I had never thought of it that way...although a difficult place to be, also maybe the "not knowing" will lead to something creative?

E...as always thanks for your encouragement...yes, maybe you are right about my niche....I feel like I am going in the right direction...just gotta keep keepin' on...

Elaine....Thanks for your comment...yes I think the rusty pieces could stand on their own....hopefully I will be able to keep their intrinsic integrity going as I add more stuff...

Mise, Its nice to meet you! Thanks for your nice comments! Jaboopee's guest blog was hilarious and you have a wonderful blog that I'll be following.

Jane, thanks for your encouragement as always, and that is awesome advice...I am going to remember to be gentle, as I am always so hard on myself...thanks.
